DevOps Engineer

Job Description

THE ROLE

As DevOps Engineer, you will provide operational support and analysis of installed systems across production and non-production environments. It will be your duty to define and deploy infrastructure using configuration management utilities which are easily tested and repeated. You will also work alongside developers to constantly improve and streamline our SDLC. We’re looking for someone that has a logical and analytical approach that allows them to breakdown issues and diagnose the root cause.

ABOUT YOU

You will have extensive knowledge of the UNIX/Linux (Ubuntu/Centos) operating system. You’ll have strong IP networking knowledge and operation troubleshooting skills. You’ve used devops practices and methodologies to work closely with developers.

You have experience administering Web server technologies and have built services in one or several lagugages such as Java, Python, Perl or Ruby.

You readily take on more responsibility without being asked to and will always roll your sleeves up eagerly when you need to. You understand when to ask for support from the more senior team but always come prepared with a solution for a challenge.

You’re ambitious for yourself and the industry and you soak up your colleagues knowledge and experience at every turn.
