Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for staging environments
Perform thorough functional and non-functional testing of software applications
Identify, document, and report bugs and issues using appropriate tracking tools
Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of identified issues
Conduct regression testing to verify bug fixes and ensure no new issues are introduced
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and potential issues
Create and maintain test documentation, including test scripts and test data
Perform load and performance testing in staging environments
Assist in the development and maintenance of automated test scripts
Monitor and analyze test results to identify trends and potential areas for improvement
Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage
Participate in daily stand-up meetings and sprint planning sessions
Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies
Assist in the setup and maintenance of staging environments
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging testing technologies

Qualifications:

Required:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field is mandatory.
A minimum of 3 years of demonstrable experience in software testing, with a strong emphasis on staging environments, is essential.
Comprehensive knowledge and application of software testing methodologies and industry best practices is required.
Demonstrated proficiency in developing and executing robust test plans, test cases, and test scripts is crucial.
Extensive experience with bug tracking and test management tools is necessary.
Superior analytical and problem-solving skills are imperative.
Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain high performance in a fast-paced environment are non-negotiable.
Advanced proficiency in both verbal and written communication is essential.

Preferred:

ISTQB certification or an equivalent industry-recognized qualification is highly desirable.
Substantial experience with automated testing tools and frameworks is strongly preferred.
In-depth knowledge of performance testing and load testing techniques is advantageous.
Comprehensive understanding of Agile development methodologies is beneficial.
Proven experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines is valued.
Strong command of database concepts and SQL querying is preferred.
Proficient knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git, is advantageous.
Substantial experience with major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) is highly regarded.
