About the role
Job Description
As an HR Systems Consultant at Team Wheel, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of HR technology solutions for our clients. You will work closely with senior consultants and project managers to ensure the effective utilisation of HR systems, streamline HR processes, and enhance the overall HR experience. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career in HR technology consulting while making a meaningful impact on our clients' success. You will have exposure and mentoring in a variety of areas.
The key to success in this role - and a key requirement - is someone who is adaptable, wants to learn (and you will be mentored and trained), has good communication skills and the humility to know what they don't know.
This is a junior to mid-level position that would suit someone who has been in the workplace for 2-5 years.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Support: Assist in the implementation and configuration of HR technology systems, including but not limited to HRIS, ATS, and HCM platforms.
System Maintenance: Provide ongoing support for HR systems, including troubleshooting issues, performing system updates, and ensuring data accuracy.
User Training: Conduct user training sessions to ensure clients' HR teams are proficient in using HR technology effectively.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of HR system configurations, processes, and best practices.
Data Management: Assist in data migration and integration tasks to ensure seamless data flow between HR systems.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR professionals, IT teams, and vendors, to deliver successful HR technology projects.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging HR technologies to provide informed recommendations to clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, evidenced experience
- An basic understanding of HR processes and technology concepts would be beneficial
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new HR systems and technologies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality solutions
Additional Information
Team Wheel is a small, friendly consultancy. We all work remotely but will aim to meet in person every one-to-two months to discuss work and to socialise. Our motivation is to deliver for the client, but within that, we are ultimately flexible.
Each compensation package is based on what the individual needs and wants; we can work with you to find a suitable agreement. Package in the range of £40-60k dependent on skills and experience.
