Overview

Use your passion for creating awesome apps to develop leading-edge cross-platform mapping and GIS solutions that run on the latest mobile devices. This is a great opportunity to design and develop the next-generation of app building technology.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers, designers, testers
• Understand user workflows and define user requirements by testing and analysis of software functions, user interfaces, and GIS methods and practices
• Test software to ensure both development goals and real-world usage scenarios are met

Requirements

• Experience with software project planning and design
• Familiarity with software testing automation tooling
• Applicants must have a keen interest in the collection of new data and verification of existing GIS data with field work 
• Background with with mobile platforms (iOS, Android)
• Experience with Esri's ArcGIS product suite
• Ability to work closely with the team and adjust to changes in a constantly evolving environment
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A current 3rd or 4th year Bachelor or Graduate student in computer science, GIS, engineering, mathematics, or related field
• Must have Australian citizenship or permanent residency

Recommended Qualifications

• Basic scripting or programming experience to support testing, workflows, or automation
