About the role

Job Description

The role:

As a Health, Safety and Fire Advisor, you will be focused on driving continuous improvement whilst maintaining and improving the level of personal service our clients have come to expect. Covering locations all across the country most of your time will be spent out at client’s locations managing your own time, with the rest of the time spent in the office/ at home completing all the relevant paper work.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

•      Undertake H&S and fire risk assessments on both commercial and residential property sites, including internal and external areas

•      Conduct site inspections and provide detailed reports of findings with recommendations for the client to implement.

•      Assist clients with the development of a H&S Management System.

•      Ensure clients are compliant with current legislation using the relevant guides and standards applicable

•      Keep up to date with legislative requirements in regards to how they impact your role

Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience preferred:

•      NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health (or equivalent level 3 qualification)

•      NEBOSH National General Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management (or equivalent level 3 qualification

•      Would consider ability to demonstrate suitable knowledge and/or experience in sector for right candidate

•      Effects of fire on people and behaviour of people in fire situations

•      Means of Escape

Additional Information

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

  • 9AM-5PM working hours (including paid lunch hour)
  • Monday – Friday
