Research Analyst (M&A)

We’re looking for a Research Analyst with experience working on M&A events. You’ll produce in-depth research and contribute to the quality of the product’s research and data.

Responsibilities

Produce in-depth research and analysis on M&A events for professional investors.

Develop clear, well-reasoned insights through independent research.

Monitor ongoing M&A developments and incorporate new information into research coverage.

Contribute to the ongoing improvement of our research, data, and analytical tools.

Requirements - Must have

Previous experience working on M&A events.

Strong drive and ambition, with a sense of ownership and pride in producing high-quality work.

Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.

Clear written communication and the ability to explain complex information concisely.

Structured thinking, sound judgement, and the ability to prioritise what matters.

Comfortable working under time pressure and with incomplete information.

Quantitative fluency, including basic probability, compounding, and scenario analysis.

Strong academic performance.

Requirements - Nice to have

Experience with analytical tools such as Python, Excel, or Google Sheets.

Experience using AI tools to support research and analysis.

Familiarity with regulatory filings and primary-source research.

Additional language skills, particularly European languages.
